The World Through a Child’s Eyes
My creative roots lie in the summer holidays of my childhood—spent in the Japanese countryside. From the moment I stepped outside, the world was an endless adventure: hunting for beetles with my grandfather, checking eel traps in the river at dawn, or staring in awe at an ancient tree that had survived a lightning strike.
To a child, the familiar world is full of wonder, a hint of mystery, and irresistible charm. Through my illustrations of dinosaurs, space, and fantasy, I aim to capture that sudden spark where the everyday transforms into an epic stage. I paint to bring back that heart-pounding excitement we all once felt.
